The Verdant Glade
The Verdant Glade is a sprawling, lush forest that covers much of the Plane of Harmony. The trees are tall and majestic, with leaves of every shade of green imaginable, from the darkest emerald to the palest mint. Beams of sunlight stream through the treetops, casting a dappled pattern on the forest floor. The air is crisp and fresh, with a hint of woodsmoke and the fragrant scent of wildflowers.
In the center of the Verdant Glade is a large clearing, where the grand Temple of Virtues stands. The temple is a magnificent structure made of white marble, with tall columns and intricate carvings. The doors are always open, welcoming all who seek to improve themselves and embody the virtues that Wylous embodies.
Surrounding the temple are gardens filled with vibrant flowers and fragrant herbs, each plant representing a different virtue. There are beds of crimson roses for love, clusters of lavender for wisdom, and patches of chamomile for compassion. The gardens are tended by a group of druids who have dedicated themselves to the teachings of Wylous and her virtuous ways.
Beyond the gardens, the forest stretches on for miles, with hidden clearings, babbling brooks, and hidden streams. The creatures of the forest are diverse and abundant, with deer, rabbits, and squirrels darting through the underbrush. Birds of all kinds flit through the trees, their sweet songs filling the air.
Temple of Virtues¶
The Temple of Virtues in the Verdant Glade is a grand structure built from the finest materials found within the glade. It stands tall and proud, with intricate carvings and decorations adorning its walls and pillars. The temple is surrounded by a lush garden filled with vibrant flowers, fragrant herbs, and towering trees.
As one approaches the temple, they are greeted by a grand staircase leading up to the entrance, flanked by two massive stone statues of Wylous, each holding a different symbol of the virtues. The doors to the temple are made of solid wood and are adorned with intricate carvings of the various virtues.
Inside, the temple is a marvel of architecture and beauty. The walls are lined with tapestries and paintings depicting scenes of virtue and heroism, while the floors are made of gleaming marble. The temple's main chamber is a large, open space, with a high ceiling and rows of pews facing a grand altar.
At the front of the temple, behind the altar, stands a massive statue of Wylous, holding a large, glowing crystal in one hand and a staff in the other. The crystal radiates a warm, soothing light, and is said to be imbued with the power of the virtues themselves.
The Temple of Virtues serves as a place of worship and contemplation, where followers of Wylous can come to meditate on the virtues and seek guidance in their own lives. It is also a center for learning, with scholars and sages from all over Andórë coming to study the secrets of the virtues and their power.
Geography¶

Localized Phenomena¶
Within the Verdant Glade, there are small orbs of light that appear to float and dance in the air. These orbs are said to be embodiments of the various virtues that Wylous champions, such as courage, compassion, and wisdom. They are often seen hovering near the Temple of Virtues or the shrines that are dedicated to each specific virtue.
In addition to the orbs, there are also occasional bursts of vibrant color that appear in the sky, resembling fireworks. These bursts of color are said to be manifestations of the virtues at work, celebrating the accomplishments of mortals who have acted in accordance with them.
Some also claim to hear faint whispers in the wind that carry messages of encouragement and guidance from Wylous and the other deities of virtue. These whispers are said to be particularly audible near the shrines and temples dedicated to the virtues.
Finally, it is said that those who embody virtues particularly well may be granted visions or dreams by Wylous or one of her divine counterparts, showing them the impact of their actions and guiding them further on their path of righteousness.
Fauna & Flora¶
The flora and fauna of the Verdant Glade are diverse and abundant, reflecting the importance of nature and harmony to Wylous, the Goddess of Virtues. The glade is filled with towering trees, colorful flowers, and lush greenery. The leaves of the trees are a rich shade of green, and their branches stretch high into the sky, creating a canopy that filters the sunlight and dapples the forest floor below.
In the fields and meadows of the glade, wildflowers of every color imaginable bloom in profusion, filling the air with their sweet fragrance. The streams and rivers that flow through the glade are home to a variety of fish and other aquatic creatures, including frogs, salamanders, and water snakes.
