Appearance¶
Physical Description¶
Araroris is a diminutive sea elf, standing only 148 cm (4'10") tall and possessing an almost skeletal frame.
She has dark pale silver-green skin and striking turquoise eyes that seem to hold centuries of quiet sorrow.
Her most distinctive feature is her extraordinarily long blue hair, which falls far beyond her waist and possesses an unusual texture that many find difficult to describe.
Her ears are exceptionally long, even by sea elf standards.
Despite her age, she carries herself with grace and dignity, moving with deliberate and measured precision.
Clothing and Equipment¶
Araroris traditionally dresses in the simple but elegant robes of a senior cleric of Ara.
Her clothing is immaculate, reflecting a lifetime devoted to ritual and discipline.
At the time of her arrest she willingly surrendered a demonic tome that had been used in the Covenant's studies.

Friends¶
Over six centuries of life, Araroris cultivated many friendships throughout Agrovionimb, particularly among the clergy and artisans of the city.
Even after her arrest, many found it difficult to reconcile the woman they knew with the crimes she confessed to committing.
The Witnesses¶
Araroris personally founded the Covenant of the Last Dawn and served as its leader, known within the organization as the Prophet.
Though she held authority over the group, she did not treat its members as servants or followers. They were, in her eyes, fellow mourners who had reached the same terrible conclusion.
Personality¶
Araroris is reserved and prefers to remain in the background despite her high standing within the temple.
She is conservative in her thinking and rarely embraces new ideas, instead relying upon long experience and accumulated evidence.
She can be impulsive and occasionally overlooks details, particularly when she believes she has already reached the correct conclusion.
Though not cruel, she often appears emotionally distant and can seem inconsiderate of others' feelings.
She is prone to melancholy and is easily disturbed by reminders of loss, failure, and the passage of time.
She enjoys singing and has been known to openly flirt with those she finds attractive.

Araroris enjoys singing and is said to possess a beautiful voice.
Many of the songs she favors are centuries old and have long since passed out of common memory.
Philosophy¶
For much of her life she devoted herself to questions of faith, mortality, and the purpose of civilization.
These studies would eventually lead her to create the Covenant of the Last Dawn.
History¶
Araroris Calaarauth was born more than six centuries ago and spent nearly her entire life in service to the Pagoda of Ara. Her name literally means Chosen of Ara, and her parents believed she was destined to become one of the goddess's greatest servants.
For centuries she prayed faithfully.
No answer ever came.
Over time she watched knowledge disappear, traditions fade, and old arts become forgotten. Each generation inherited less than the one before it, yet continued to insist that the future would somehow improve.
Ten years before the events of the campaign, she reached a devastating conclusion:
The gods were gone.
Civilization had already ended.
Agrovionimb was merely refusing to admit it.
From late-night philosophical discussions with other clergy grew a new movement: The Covenant of the Last Dawn. Initially the group was nothing more than a gathering of grieving and disillusioned individuals struggling to make sense of the world.
Over the years, however, the Covenant's philosophy changed.
If the world had already ended, then perhaps prolonging its final decline was cruelty.
When construction of the Dawn Seeker began, Araroris and her followers came to see the ship not as a symbol of hope, but as another attempt to deny reality. They eventually formulated a plan to turn the vessel into a beacon that demons could sense across the sea, allowing Agrovionimb to finally share the fate of the rest of civilization.
After the arrests of the Witnesses, Araroris offered no resistance.
She calmly surrendered herself to the Tide Wardens, admitted to founding the Covenant, and invoked Article 14, requesting a public hearing.
During that hearing she openly confessed her crimes before hundreds of citizens.
She denied neither her actions nor her intentions.
Instead, she argued that Agrovionimb was built upon false hope and that survival alone was not victory.
Her final warning to the city was simple:
"Tomorrow morning there will still be people who wake before dawn and wonder whether I was right."
