United Kingdoms of Bizad
The United Kingdoms of Bizad is a vast empire formed by the halfling, gnome, and dwarven nations. With a land area of 1.3 million square miles, it is home to a population of about 3.7 million people, with the halflings making up half of the population, followed by the dwarves and gnomes.
Unlike what its name suggests, the UKB is not entirely composed of kingdoms. While the dwarven nation is a hereditary monarchy, the halfling and gnomish nations have done away with their monarchies and adopted a democratic republican form of government. Nevertheless, the triumvirate council, consisting of one representative from each of the three nations, holds ultimate power in the UKB, making the individual nations largely symbolic.
The flag of the United Kingdoms of Bizad features a golden dragon on a dark blue background. The dragon is depicted in a dynamic pose, with its wings spread and its tail coiled around a sword. The dragon symbolizes strength, power, and protection, while the sword represents the military might of the UKB. The dark blue background symbolizes the vastness of the sea and the sky, which the UKB borders. The golden dragon and sword stand out boldly against the blue, making the flag easily recognizable and distinctive. The flag is often flown from the walls of castles and fortresses, and is also used as a symbol of national pride and unity in public ceremonies and events.
Structure¶
The Triumvirate Council consists of one representative from each of the three nations: a halfling, a gnome, and a dwarf. They are equal in power and work together to make decisions for the UKB.
Culture¶
The culture of the UKB is rich and diverse, reflecting the unique blend of halfling, gnome, and dwarven traditions that have come together to form the empire. Despite their differences, the citizens of the UKB share a strong sense of unity and pride in their nation.
One of the defining aspects of UKB culture is a love of music and celebration. Festivals and fairs are common throughout the year, with each nation putting their own unique spin on the celebrations. The halflings are known for their extravagant feasts, the gnomes for their intricate clockwork displays, and the dwarves for their impressive displays of craftsmanship and metalworking.
Another important aspect of UKB culture is a deep reverence for tradition and history. Each nation has its own customs and rituals that have been passed down for generations, and many citizens take great pride in preserving these traditions. The UKB is also home to many ancient ruins and artifacts, and historians and archaeologists are highly respected members of society.
The UKB also places a strong emphasis on family and community. Clan and family ties are important, and many citizens live in close-knit communities that offer support and assistance to one another. Hospitality is a key value, and visitors to the UKB are often greeted with warmth and generosity.
Finally, the UKB is known for its strong work ethic and ingenuity. The citizens of the empire are skilled craftsmen, inventors, and entrepreneurs, and they take great pride in their ability to solve problems and overcome obstacles through hard work and ingenuity.
Public Agenda¶
The public agenda of the UKB is to maintain peace, prosperity, and stability for its citizens while promoting the interests and well-being of all three nations within the empire. This includes ensuring the security of the borders, managing the economy to promote growth and stability, providing basic services such as education and healthcare, and fostering a sense of unity and cooperation among the diverse population. Additionally, the UKB seeks to maintain strong diplomatic relationships with neighboring nations and engage in international trade and commerce to further its economic interests. Finally, the UKB is committed to upholding the values and principles of its pantheon of gods, including honor, justice, and respect for the natural world.
Assets¶
The UKB's primary assets include their vast mineral resources, including iron, copper, gold, and silver, as well as their highly skilled craftsmen and artisans in the mining and metalworking industries. They also have a thriving clockwork and golem manufacturing industry, fueled by their expertise in mechanics and engineering. Additionally, the fertile farmland of the halfling nation and the extensive trade networks throughout the empire contribute to their economic success. The UKB's strong military tradition and use of magical technology also make them a formidable force in the region.
Demography and Population¶
The UKB has a total population of roughly 3.7 million people spread over 1.3 million square miles of land. The population is predominantly made up of three races: halflings, gnomes, and dwarves. Halflings make up approximately 50% of the population, with gnomes making up about 20% and dwarves making up about 30%. There are also smaller populations of other races, such as humans and elves, who have settled in the UKB for various reasons.
Each of the three races has its own distinct culture and traditions, which are often reflected in the architecture, food, and entertainment of their respective regions. Despite these differences, the three races generally live together in harmony, with intermarriage and mixed communities being relatively common.
The UKB is a relatively sparsely populated country, with many rural areas and small towns interspersed among its larger cities. The capital city, which is home to the Triumvirate Council and other important government institutions, has a diverse population representing all three races.

The military of the UKB is composed of the armies of each of the three kingdoms: the Halfling Militia, the Gnomish Defense Force, and the Dwarven Iron Guard. Each kingdom maintains and trains its own forces, but they can be called upon to work together in times of conflict as the UKB military.
The Halfling Militia is known for their agility and stealth, with a focus on hit-and-run tactics and guerrilla warfare. They are skilled in archery and ambush tactics, and are often used as scouts and skirmishers. The Gnomish Defense Force is known for their ingenuity and technological advancements, utilizing various gadgets and machines in combat.
