Appearance

Physical Description

Whulehyn is a skinny triton woman standing 175 cm (5'9") tall.

She has rich blue skin, sea-green eyes, and long, curly seaweed-green hair that has already begun turning gray despite her relatively young age.

Clothing and Equipment

Whulehyn favors practical clothing suited to shipyard work, though her garments are often somewhat untidy and hastily put together.

Her fingernails are usually chewed short from a lifelong habit of biting them.

Personality

Whulehyn is extremely enthusiastic and prefers to spend as much time around other people as possible.

She is strongly resistant to unfamiliar ideas and tends to rely on what she already knows and the opinions of those she trusts.

She is disorganized and frequently neglects responsibilities.

Though she can be inconsiderate and occasionally insulting, her sharp tongue often masks her own anxieties.

She experiences frequent mood swings and is easily distressed.

She habitually bites her nails.

History

Whulehyn worked as a shipbuilder at the Superior Shipyard and lived in the Twinkling Flats alongside several other shipbuilders, including Duzus Calafin-LightHair and Alar Nughelath.

She attended the private support group led by Belaia Bhovunath and eventually became involved in the Covenant of the Last Dawn.

During the group's final meeting, she appeared deeply unsettled by Nelldove Sivmil's death and repeatedly expressed fear that the investigators would continue uncovering the truth. She was the first to mention that the authorities had searched the apartment and later worried aloud that Durgat might reveal more information.

She also recalled that when the ritual aboard the Dawn Seeker was attempted:

"The water still boiled."

"We felt something respond."

"It worked."

Unlike several other members of the Covenant, Whulehyn appeared frightened by these memories rather than comforted by them.

Following the exposure of the conspiracy, she was arrested alongside the other conspirators and later pleaded guilty.
