Personal history¶
In the time before Greluna ascended to godhood, she was a gifted engineer and inventor. Her greatest creation was the Bastion of Discovery, a magical ship that could travel to the farthest reaches of the cosmos.
Greluna spent many long years building and perfecting the Bastion of Discovery, pouring all her skill and knowledge into its construction. It was a magnificent vessel, gleaming in the light of the sun, and its hull was imbued with powerful enchantments that would allow it to pass through the void of space unharmed.
Finally, the day came when Greluna was ready to set out on her maiden voyage. With a sense of excitement and trepidation, she climbed aboard the Bastion of Discovery and gave the order to launch.
For many months, Greluna explored the stars, charting new worlds and making incredible discoveries. She encountered strange and wondrous creatures, and gathered knowledge that had been lost to the ages. But as she journeyed further and further into the void, Greluna became increasingly reckless, eager to uncover secrets that even the gods themselves had not dared to explore.
It was on the moon of Achipheus that Greluna's recklessness finally caught up with her. She had descended to the surface of the moon, seeking out a fabled artifact that was said to grant the power of immortality. But in her haste, she had failed to take into account the treacherous terrain, and the Bastion of Discovery crashed into the surface of the moon.
After Greluna's ship, the Bastion of Discovery, crashed into Achipheus, she found herself stranded on the barren moon with no means of escape. She survived on the meager resources available, but her spirits were low as she resigned herself to the possibility of a slow and lonely death.
Unbeknownst to her, Hykteus, the god of knowledge, had taken notice of her predicament. Moved by her bravery and determination, he decided to intervene. He appeared before her in a vision, offering to help her escape the moon and return to her home planet of Andórë.
Greluna was shocked and overjoyed by the sudden appearance of the god, and she readily accepted his offer. Hykteus instructed her to gather certain materials and build a small device that would allow her to leave Achipheus.
As endeavored to build the device, Greluna felt a strange sensation wash over her. It was as if something inside her was changing. She began to glow with a soft, blue light, and she realized that she had been granted a portion of Hykteus's divine power.
After Hykteus had bestowed a portion of his divine power upon Greluna, he watched over her as she explored Achipheus. Over time, he grew enamored with her courage, intelligence, and independence. He appeared before her in the guise of a handsome mortal and the two struck up a conversation.
Despite her initial skepticism, Greluna found herself drawn to Hykteus. As they spoke, she began to sense that there was more to him than met the eye. Something about his mannerisms and the way he spoke suggested a depth of experience and wisdom that far surpassed that of any mortal she had ever encountered.
As they spent more time together, Greluna and Hykteus found themselves developing a deep bond of trust and mutual respect. They shared their hopes and dreams with each other, and Hykteus opened up to Greluna about his true identity as a god. Rather than being scared or intimidated, Greluna was fascinated by the idea of a divine being walking among mortals.
As they grew closer, Greluna and Hykteus realized that they were meant to be mates. They shared a profound love for each other that transcended the boundaries of mortality and divinity. Together, they explored the moon of Achipheus and embarked on a series of adventures that tested their courage, ingenuity, and love for each other.
Eventually, Hykteus proposed to Greluna, and she accepted. They pledged their love for each other before the eyes of the heavens, and their union was blessed by the other gods. From that moment on, Greluna became a goddess in her own right, and she and Hykteus ruled over Achipheus together as divine consorts. Their love story became the stuff of legend, inspiring poets, storytellers, and lovers for generations to come.
